“Come now, let us reason together,” says the LORD: “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.” —Isaiah 1:18
Dear Reader,

He is ready to heal you, give you peace and new strength, and restore purpose to your life. If you’d like to read more or need fellowship and support in Christ, please feel free to contact me. I am a sinful, brokenhearted man who has found solace in His grace and love. It is God who sustains me each day. Perhaps my life experiences can bring you comfort and help draw you closer to Him. God may use an unworthy servant like me to bring joy and hope into your life.
I believe that the Bible is the true and living Word of God—complete, sufficient, perfect, and unchanging. Nothing can be added to it or taken away from it. From Genesis 1 to Revelation 22, it is the pure Word of God, the greatest gift He has given to mankind.
I believe the Bible was inspired by the Holy Spirit and written down by different authors. The Bible and God cannot be separated.
I believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to attain citizenship in heaven. For anyone to be saved, he or she must hear the Gospel, confess that Jesus is Lord, repent of sins, ask God for forgiveness, be baptized, and live according to the Word of God.
There is no forgiveness or salvation outside of Jesus Christ, and all people in this world are sinners. To live a life pleasing to Christ, we need the daily help and guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Every human being on this planet is trapped in one or more of these three things:
-
The lust of the flesh
-
The lust of the eyes
-
The pride of life
Many of us don’t even realize what has trapped us because we have gone so far that our hearts have become desensitized to the truth and to the Bible’s standard.
As I examine myself, I do so by comparing my life with the Bible—using the Word as a mirror and Jesus as my light. I encourage you to do the same, for tomorrow could be too late. The more we allow Jesus to shine in our lives, the more our hidden sins are revealed through the mirror of Scripture.
If we rely on our own understanding—separating the Bible from God and attempting to comprehend Jesus through extra-biblical means—we become false prophets or followers of false prophets. And if we study the Bible while removing Jesus from it, we become nothing more than non-Christian Bible scholars. The former is dangerous, and the latter is useless.
We live in a world lost in sin, drifting far from the Word of God. This happened because we stopped using the Bible as our standard. In today’s Christendom, hearing the truth has become rare. Too often, "preachers" focus on climate justice, “hyper-grace” teachings, prosperity preaching, moral-superiority-based pacifism, and other deceptive, satanic agendas that are against God's ordinance in nature and Godly assigned roles that have been intentionally injected into Christianity to dilute and desensitize us to the truth and drift us away from Christ and destroy our families.
Christians today are often more concerned with seeking attention than repenting of their sins. We forget the Great Commission, not realizing that Satan is not against “moral values.” The mission of Christ was never about spreading just moral values. You don’t need Christ to live morally—you can be an extremely “moral” person without Christ. Faith without work is dead but work without faith is not pleasing to Jesus.
We Christians who can’t tolerate our neighbor’s dog barking or forgive a small mistake by our own church members—and constantly accuse them—are now condemning Israel’s right to defend itself against terrorism. It seems that our compassion for the so-called “weak” — the inherently evil terrorists — is more about public attention and to certify ourselves as peace lovers. In doing so, we deviate from the Word of God, led astray by our pride. We should use Bible as a mirror and not as a window.
There is a clear lack of discernment among today’s Christians to differentiate Christ and the antichrist, the prophet of God and the false prophet. Discernment is a gift from God, and we should all seek the Spirit of discernment in this lost world—otherwise, we too will be lost.
We, self-righteous, prideful Christians, are now ready to even condemn Jesus for using a whip to sanctify the house of prayer. Preachers today—elevating their own voices above Scripture—apply their prideful moral yardsticks to question God and His Word.
Instead of turning to the Bible as the true source of standards, we lean on our own prideful thoughts. In doing so, we twist and judge the Word of God, interpreting it in ways that simply satisfy our sinful desires and selfish wants.
This distortion has caused many of us to see Jesus only as a Lamb. But in reality, He is both the Lion and the Lamb—the Savior who died for us, but also the coming Judge who is sharpening His sword. He will return, and there will be no escape on that day. Jesus said, “The word that I have spoken will judge you in the last day.”
This means that rejecting the authority of the Bible will ultimately lead to eternal separation from Him.
The peace that Christ purchased is the peace between God and sinners through His blood. The peace of Christ has nothing to do with anti-war.
A true Christian—one who is at peace with God through continual repentance—will not be troubled by wars, nor shaken even if a missile flies overhead or the tectonic plates tremble beneath their feet, for they are ready to meet the Savior and enter the eternal Kingdom of God.
The joy of salvation cannot be contained; it overflows. A true Christian will share that joy, making others disciples of Christ. They will spread the Gospel rather than dilute it with anti-war propaganda, which only belittles the true power of Christ.
It is God who decides when a person’s grace period ends and when it is extended. He is the Author of life, giving each of us free will and a season of grace.
He holds the balance and renders justice. He warns us repeatedly and patiently and lovingly waits for our repentance. But if we harden our hearts, one day we will surely face His judgment.
If we are not in a war zone, give thanks for the gift of peaceful governance and use that freedom to spread the Gospel. Tomorrow is never guaranteed—there could be an earthquake, a war, or even a sudden accident.
If we are in a war zone, plead for His mercy. Repent, and pray earnestly for the souls that are about to face judgment. Who knows? By our prayers, He may extend the time of grace.
Some Jews of Jesus’ time expected a Messiah to rescue them from Roman slavery and unable to accept Jesus because He did not meet their political expectations. But the Jews who embraced Him as the One who brings peace between God and sinners recognized Him as the true Messiah—and because of their witness, we are Christians today.
So the question is: Which Jew are we? Are we among those who reduce Christ to an anti-war figure or an anti-slavery figure? Or are we among those who accept Him as the forgiver of sins?
There were wars when Jesus was born, wars on the day He was crucified, and wars on the day He was resurrected — and they will continue until He returns. The worldly, pseudo peace that today’s Christians seek in vain has never existed and never will. The peace that Jesus grants us through His blood is far greater and incomparable to this false peace.
Any man can broker peace between nations with or without Jesus, but only Jesus can forgive sins. The only war we can truly end/win is the war within yourself—the battle against your flesh—by accepting Jesus into your heart. Though He is the King of kings, He waits patiently for you to open your heart to Him.
Heaven and hell are both real. If we want to escape eternal hellfire and enter eternal life in heaven, I urge you: start reading the Bible, repent, pray, attend a Bible-believing church, live a Christian life by representing Christ to others, and bring others into Christ's kingdom.
From the moment of our salvation, we are engaged in constant spiritual warfare against the forces of evil. The only way to stand firm in this battle is to put on the full armor of God, so that we may be able to withstand the enemy and remain steadfast.
We must fasten the belt of truth, put on the breastplate of righteousness, and fit our feet with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In all circumstances, we must take up the shield of faith. We must wear the helmet of salvation and take up the sword of the Spirit—which is the Bible. Among all these, the Word of God is the only offensive weapon. For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Without this we will terribly fail in our race here in this life.
As a part of reasoning, I welcome challenges and will do my best to address any concerns or questions you raise. I am a sinner, and I am an unworthy servant of God who has simply sought to do the duty He has entrusted to me. To God alone be the glory.
If you are convicted of your sins, please kneel down, humble yourself, and seek God’s guidance in your life. He is a loving Savior who embraces us with His wounded hands—the very hands we pierced with our sins.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, Abba, Almighty God—Sustainer, Maintainer, and Creator of all that was, that is, and that is to come; the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—I praise You, I adore You, and I worship You. You alone are worthy of all worship, and You alone are the one true and holy God.
I thank You for everything. Today I humble myself and come before You through the grace of Jesus and through the power of the blood He shed for me at Calvary.
Lord Jesus, forgive me of my sins. I confess that I have done terrible things and lived an unholy life. I seek the help and gift of the Holy Spirit to guide me and surround me. I pray for Your mercy and grace over my life.
Help me to overcome my sins, for I cannot do it by myself. Carry me through as I cast all my burdens upon You. Soften my heart, Lord—let it not be hardened anymore. Melt this heart of stone and make it pour out to You.
Mold me into a vessel useful for Your purposes. Here I am, Lord—send me, and use me for Your glory and Protect me under your wings.
In Jesus’ name I pray,
Amen
